The mods have their work cut out for them this morning...

I don't check this forum every day and I haven't been paying attention to this issue, but this morning the spam level is pretty high. I'm surprised by this (partly because none of the other forums I frequent have this problem) but maybe this happens a lot these days and I just haven't noticed.
 
Is it common knowledge that the mods don't watch the forum as closely on the weekends so the spammers hit harder on those days? Or is this forum normally less moderated than others, which invites the spammers?
 
Just as an observation (and not that I'm a conspiracy theorist) but it seems to me that, for a spammer to put so much effort into the multiple posts here, it is more than just random spamming, that someone has an agenda. 

I believe that Andrew posted a couple days ago that Cakewalk was moving offices. That may be why they are not on top of it...usually they seem to keep it out by and large. But you're right that moron with his nonsense is really pumping it in. Sad.

FWIW, another forum (non-music related) that I'm a senior moderator on got hit over the night as well.
