Thunder Snow!!!
I've been trapped all day because of the crazy weather. Right now we're having thunder snow. I had a previous thread about looking for a cheap acoustic... well I got one, so I've been using my time trying different ways of recording it, and trying out all of my reverb units with it. I ended up getting an Ovation CC24-Koa. It's been awhile since I've played an acoustic and man my fingers are feeling it! I'll get back in shape eventually though. Anyhoo...I haven't had a chance to try Perfect space yet, but I was wondering if anyone has a favorite impulse for acoustic and vocals? I know Perfect space isn't true stereo, but it's pretty good isn't it? (in two years I haven't really used it).

We have been getting some of the Thunder Snow here as well. Funny, it was 80 yesterday and in the high 20's today.

Our roads are screwed right now. I think I'll use a vacation day and play with my toys tomorrow. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Yup...my wife is stuck at the airport. Its too icy to go get her and...so far...they aren't taking off. Looks like a long night ahead. Just hope we keep power. But the way the ice is coming down I'm not holding out much hope. But I've got plenty of martini fixins so...............:-)

I've been logging studio time while "snowed in" for decades. I never lie, 3 inches in the city puts a 3 foot drift square in the driveway out here, but...they farmed this land a couple hundred years before I came along, getting things to grow here has never been a problem, in fact, keeping weeds out the driveway costs me tens of hours a year, soooo...if I really really want out, I can just drive in the yard. Flat grass doesn't bother the jeep at all. This season I've been snowed in twice...for real. Solid week back in January, five foot drifts, neighbor came over with his plow ( he has a large excavating firm) and couldn't move it. His front loader/backhoe starts and runs hard below zero, but using both ends, he finally opened me a canyon to the road. Second time, nearly a week, jeep was stuck in a two foot windslab, snow sort of turns to glued sand after the wind moves and drops it. I just let it melt out that time. Point being...long as you stocked up on food, tequila and smokes, LET IT FLIPPIN SNOW! :-)

I can only think of one Snowden person who won't be very happy when they rescue find him.

Loads of nice ones in there, but I've used the 'choir room' impulse more than once on acoustic guitar.

If you read his book, you'll see he had a pretty good crystal ball thing goin on, with a few miscalcs, that landed him in a better refuge than South America. He also says he didn't want to hurt any ops in progress...but he never said he didn't DOWNLOAD anything like that. Good money says he has an insurance policy or two (billion) in his back pocket.

Thanks, I'll give it a go. I saw an old thread where someone had a bunch of Lexicon impulses, but all links are dead.

http://rhythminmind.net/STN/?page_id=4188 Here are the Lexicon impulses I was looking for. They all work very good in perfect space. The M7 briscoti impulses are true stereo...I would love to try them, but for now I got the Lexicon 200, 300, PCM-90, 480L and the TC electronic M5000 impulses. That should do!!!
