Slash VS Hendrix

It's looking like the aT3 group buy will end with one more freebie and I will have to choose between getting Amplitube JH or Amplitube Slash.  As I understand it, the JH collection contains 3 new amps and 1 new pedal (the rest already in AT3), whereas the Slash collection contains 2 amps and 6 or so new pedals.

I'm in the same boat as you m-cake and wasn't sure which one of these I'd choose. I'm leaning towards Slash as I do like his tones.
Anyone having both of these care to give a little review?

Jimi's stuff is interesting as it showcases his songs and incorporates his clean, crunch and fuzzy stuff. I'm not a fuzz fan but I found the other stuff quite playable.

I don't have the Slash one but it looks like what you would expect. Nothing too dramatic.

I like the Jimi Marshall emulated amps and the WAH.  I don't like the Fender emulated amps, but I am not a fan of the Fender amp sound.

Slash Marshall amp is a licensed emulation, it's really good and my go to amp in Amplitube.  I like the Slash Distortion Wah pedal too.

Most of the other amps and pedals in both bundles I rarely if ever use, but I'm not really a guitar player.

You can always demo the individual effects in customshop before ya buy.

    I have both.

When I was checking out the JH collection, I played with it a lot. I'm not much of a fuzz man myself, so I really didn't check out the fuzz style stuff. But the JH amps I really enjoyed. They have a lot of old school character.

I also tried the Slash stuff. I didn't play with it much at all. I just found the default settings were not too inspiring for me. Have not tried any of slashes pedals.

I have found the Fender stuff really good. It's not Recto stuff, but it sure has the right amount of breakup. And each amp is a little different.

The only thing I don't like about the Fender collection (and most of AT3) is the Reverb. All default amp settings are set at 2. And like a real old amp, it's either on, or off. And nothing in between. And to me when it's on it's just too much from the start. So I usually turn it off and use Springverb.
