Producer X3e download fail
Hmmmmm so I've tried 4 times now this evening and I get a fail after about 3-40mb. The dl is painfully slow up until that point. I've not had any problems downloading from Cakewalk or anywhere else for that matter in the past. Is it just a traffic thing? Anyone else having issues?
I'm gonna give up for the night and try again tomorrow.

Its just a traffic thing. That sometimes happens.

I tried a few times this morning and it would say…can't find server etc.
Tried 5 minutes later and got the file in less than 10 minutes

There are gobs of folks downloading it right now.
I suggest you use a download manager, or a browser that has one in it, like Chrome.

I tried last evening. When it showed 4 to 5 hour download time, I decided to wait. Heavy traffic! lol

I've had 3 failures.... Each time all the way at the end of a very long, slow d/l... Only get approx. 30kb/sec download speed... and I'm on limited internet so I'm royally scr........

I gave up last night but I used my phone while at work today and it downloaded (using mobile internet) with no problems at all. I just need to transfer the file to my pc and I'm good to go. Good job I have unlimited data in my contract  . Grum.

The only way I manage to dl from cake's server is with firefox & DownThemAll. Works very well.

Cheers for the replies. Yeah I figured it was just a traffic thing. Chrome is my browser of choice but when that failed a couple of times I tried with Firefox with the same result. My monthly limit is 100Gb so not worried about trying a few times. I'm sure we'll all get there eventually
