Ambient tune inspired by copious Chimay Blue consumption last night
Started out as a sorta creepy Porcupine Tree-ish tune that morphed into a sorta creepy Deftone-ish tune and then into a creepy Gregmang tune

All guitars and bass are Axe FX II (of course !)

And hats off to you Belgian monks !

Direct mp3 link as I hate what Soundcloud sonically does to my musik - [link=http://home.comcast.net/~dhbmusik/PT%20Thing%201.6.mp3]http://home.comcast.net/~...k/PT%20Thing%201.6.mp3[/link]

Being a Chimay fan, naturally I had to have a listen.

The timing between the drums and guitars seemed a little too "free" at times, but overall I like the feel - it certainly does have a bit of that eerie/hazy Porcupine Tree thing going on.   And yes, the guitars do sound good.

Absolutely love the whole dark vibe in it. When you initially said ambient I didn't quite expect this. Some really cool chord transitions in there too.

Completely enjoyed every second of it.

    Thx guys !

And yes, the timing is a bit "free" at times and worthy of fixing.

Very much appreciate the feedback !
