Best Tutorial Video for ProChannel?
I haven't had much time on Sonar beyond 8.5. Installed X1 & x2, but continued to use 8.5. Now am trying to get up to speed on X3. Watched the X3 Explained video, which was good but it does not deal much with ProChannel. Any recommendations on educational material (videos or other) with a good introduction / in-depth treatment of ProChannel?

Thanks Scott - I've purchased pretty much all of the Sonar Power books going all the way back to Sonar 2 Power! in 2003 and will for sure get Sonar X3 Power! (probably the ebook) when it becomes available. Meanwhile, I'm looking particularly for a Video that contains a good in-depth treatment of ProChannel if anyone can recommend one.

Karl's tutorial that scook mentions above is really comprehensive on this. For that price you can't beat it.
Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

One more tip to mention regarding ProChannel tutorials. Also available in the Cakewalk store and on Groove3 is a Groove3 tutorial called Mixing with Sonar. It was made at the latter part of Sonar X1 time and covers just about all the current ProChannel modules.
What's great about this tutorial is that Bill walks you through actually using them and applying them to a song. Very practical narration and very helpful to learn how to use them rather than the other tutorials which tend to explain what they are without really applying them on a song. So Mixing with Sonar I know helped me a lot.

+1 for Bill's videos, Particularly the Groove3 tutorial called "Mixing with Sonar." He has also written a great book called "The Power In Cakewalk Sonar. " It comes with a load of DVD tutorials as well. I highly recommend both. He not only explains the functions well, but also uses real world examples to demonstrate them in practice, too.
