I really like that!!  Your voice works well with the song, and your delivery is very honest.  I thought the arrangement was really well done; it was very clean and supported the lyrics well.  You have a LOT of talent.

I wish you the most success with your music.

Great feeling in this song Charles, and your voice brings that feeling through very well. I did think the instruments were ducked a little too much during the vocal. Just a first impression.
I don't know whether the vocals were a little too loud, or whether you intentionally dropped the instruments in volume when you sang. It seemed to me a little too far as they got lost behind your voice.
Like I said, just a first impression. I really do like the song.

Hi Charles, nice tune and production. Vocal seems to be to wide, they are masking the instruments.

Thanks for this feedback - appreciated ! I do agree now that two of you have mentioned it - that I dropped the instrumentation too much behind my vocal...I toyed with that a few times while mixing. I am going to go back to this project and tweak it -

    Thanks !!

Is this a better mix --- ? I tweaked the mix for a better vocal to instrument ratio --- does this work better?

    Thanks !!

Hi Charles, lovely song  ,the mix is a lot better imho, balance is good. I would eq the lows of the vocal a bit, seems to be to much lows in the vocals. Well sung btw, suits the song.

Really nice. Only listening on laptop, but it comes across very well. I like the almost conversational vocal style, suits the subject matter perfectly.

I can relate to this style and presentation.
Nice and intimate, tho I think it would be improved if you built it up to an emotional crescendo and then came back to intimate.
    Nice

Hey thanks !! Yeah I have to work on my voice and get the emotions up. Funny how it feels more emotional while singing it, but that does not always come across as it should....    thanks for listening. Nice surprise after a break from comments...
