Advance Slider is Hard to Find

Hello Everyone--

I'm still on X2 so maybe this has been changed in X3, but you know when you're in track view and you want to advance the timeline/view with the little, tiny square slider at the bottom of the screen that is the same color as the background?

Well, wouldn't it be cool if it wasn't the same color as the background? I've got a dual monitor setup and it stops my "flow" when I have to hunt for the little thing.

Anyone else?

I guess no one else has any issues with the slider being hard to see...

On my system its not hard to see. There is an alternative though the slider in the transport will do much the same thing.  I also have a control surface with a jog wheel that I use a lot.

Yeah, I could see how a control surface would make that a non-issue.

It is not hard to see on my system either.  But I find CTRL+right/left arrow keys to be more efficient.

Great--I like shortcuts.

I don't recall if this is new to X3, but...   try clicking in the Timeline and dragging back and forth while holding down the left mouse button.

I'll give that a try.

The ctrl + arrow keys didn't seem to work.

Thanks
