Small question about VS 700 Master Fader ...

Hi guyz ....
 
It's been a while i didn't worked on my studio ....and today i see some i can't recall if it used to be like that or not :
 
when i open a project (new or old no matter) ....all my fader comes to place but the master fader stay in nominal(i'm talking the far right one)
 
if i grab with mouse the master fader in sonar and move , while being in Bus control with VS 700 C ...my master controlled by the one of the 8 faders moves and fallow ./....but the one on the far right does nothing !!!
 
Is it normal (and i start to become paranoid) or not ?
