There's a difference between buoyancy and a seismic event. It can be a matter of perspective. Doing cannonballs in the local pool can be mildly amusing if you're watching from a safe distance. If you're that one kid in the middle of the pool who just noticed the disappearance of the sun, it's a seismic event.
