"Acoustic Dreams" a somewhat acoustic ethereal track...
This track started with an acoustic guitar loop included in SONAR PRODUCER...added some dreamy VSTs and I really like the feel...another backing track for SoundTraxx... https://soundcloud.com/so...oustic-dreams-by-www-1 Hope you like it! - Shawn Lee Farrell

Hi Shawn, did you change the recurring theme that starts at 1;02 ? Sounds a bit dissonant to me imho. Rik

This is interesting. I like the development over the continuo. Very cool. What is that clicking on the right side just before each acoustic motive plays on the left? Very well done!!!

Shawn, Very nicely done and sounds good. The only crit is the click sound, which I think maybe from your little keyboard keys. The same thing happened to me a long time ago, until I learned not to push to hard on the keys, especially cheap plastic keys on inexpensive equipment. It is hard to edit this out, if that is what it is. Loved the piece though, nice mellow theme. Your using an AKAI mini and I use a M-Audio Axiom Air 32 mini which doesn't seem to give any clicks on my recordings and it is compatible with AKAI file formats. You may want to check one out if you have the time. It also comes with a free download for Ignite. Peace and Blessings, John

I think that click was in the sampled acoustic guitar loop at the end... Thanks guys! -Shawn

Hi Shawn, may I make a suggestion concerning that recurrent theme ? I think it would sound more as a complte theme if you' would play the theme twice but change the last E to C#. This way the theme has an end, imho. Rik

Rikkie - I feel that all sections of that part sound good EXCEPT the last grouping which got shifted a little and especially the last note (as you suggest) sounds really off...I will fix this and moybe more hopefully soon! THANKS GUYS! - Shawn as an added bonus, here is a shot of Me a few years ago in my studio...this time tho there is no vanity shots of my gear but there is a REALLY BEAUTIFUL GIRL SITTING NEXT TO ME! ENJOY!

Liking the overall feel of this track - I think you could develop the structure a bit more over the 3 minutes. Which sample is it you used from Sonar Producer - I don't find such guitar samples in mine (though ther eis a lot to go thorugh ;-)) ?
