Selecting Multiple Clips

Hey All
 
This should be simple, but I'm having the hardest time selecting multiple clips (on the same track)>
THe think that has made it difficult I believe is that They are all have "Clip Gain" automation on them.
Help Please

    Make sure the Edit Filter ( "A" in illustration below from http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation/default.aspx?Doc=SONAR%20X3&Lang=EN&Req=Tools.03.html ) is set to Clips

    If you Shift+click on any clip in a track it will change that track's Edit Filter so that all clips are now available.
