Sonar X3e Drum maps bug?(Solved)

Hi, I'm finding if I select a drum map as the output on a MIDI track and then open the PRV or step sequencer I'm seeing no notes at all!
Is anyone else seeing this?

Cheers
Steve.

The notes are not displaying in the Drum Grid Pane (B in the illustration below from http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation/default.aspx?Doc=SONAR%20X3&Lang=EN&Req=EditingMIDI.03.html ) ? If the Drum Grid Pane is not being displayed, toggle the "Show/Hide Drum Pane" in the View menu (A Below) or drag down the separator.

If you use a drum map in Step Sequencer, you have to double click I think in the top-right corner of the midi clip, to see the notes.  Otherwise, you get a new clip, which overlays the other one, and this is why the notes do not display.

Thanks, I'd not got the view option enabled for drum grid, it seems I have to go and reselect it every time I open piano view and I don't see anything still in the step sequencer view still.

Sorry but still not working right in Step sequencer view, getting no notes showing at all, clicking at top right changes the type of clip it is.

If the step sequencer is empty, double-click the clip to populate it.

The clips not empty, it's got a drum sequence in it. If I change the output from a drum map it opens fine. Just wondered if you've tried it?

Yes, I just did. I placed a clip in a MIDI track with a drum map, set the MIDI track to open in the step sequencer. When the step sequencer opened, it was empty. Double-clicking on the clip populated the step sequencer.

Got there in the end, I wasn't double clicking the clip after opening the Step Sequencer. Thanks for your patience I owe you a drink.

    Cheers
