V-vocal removes wave form in X2

Using V-vocal to correct a tuning problem but the V-vocal clip is flat lined and the wave doesn't show up in V-vocal. Sound plays fine and the wave form comes back when I remove the V-vocal clip.  How do I fix this? -Steve
