Take Lanes.. is there a limit?

I notice when recording midi takes.. Sonar creates take lanes then will stop after 9 or 10.  Is there a limit to how many new lanes it creates?  Thx

Good question. Never went beyond eight or nine myself.

I've just tried loop recording fifteen takes and successfully created 15 lanes :p

    Hmmm...

I've done far more than that with audio tracks, but I've not had need of more than 4-5 lanes of MIDI and even that has been very infrequent... I'll explore this later...

At the risk of generating a problem report submission of dubious value, but in the interests of science...

I consistently get to 85 (with a partial take in 84), and then the transport breaks out of the loop and stops recording. It might depend on the total number of MIDI events or other factors.
