I like Embertone's libs.. Good to see they've been working on it because for me it's not there yet.
I haven't used it in months, hopefully these improvements will get me back into using it.

Hey Carl, before we put the finishing touches on the upgrade - any specific suggestions/issues/reasons why it's not there yet for you?

    Thanks!

    Hi Alex,

I thought the legato timings needed to be worked on, made it a bit difficult to work with in performance & the vibrato felt a bit off, un-natural.
It also felt & sounded dynamically sterile in general.

I see some of these points listed in your improvements so I'm guessing they've been tweaked to perform a bit better/ smoother.

Looking forward to the update, thanks for asking.

Legato timings have been adjusted, one sample at a time. Also, there's a lot more flexibility with a new "Responsiveness" knob on the interface.

The overall sound of the violin is not drastically changing, however, so if that's not to your liking, don't expect an instrument that sounds a lot different. HOWEVER, the new "color mode" will give you access to some pretty great sul tasto/sul pont samples, and you can morph between them!
