Cool ,I like it! The only comment I have is I think the vocal needs a little more something to make it reach out and grab your attention. To me it is just kinda sitting there in the mix and it is good enough to shine through a little more.Overall though it sounds great..

I loved this.  The video told me a lot about Pedro and I appreciate that.  Mix and performances were exceptional.  It's amazing how you can take simple parts and mix them into a piece that sounds like so much more is going on.  I'll bet your kids (I'm assuming) love working with you.  Excellent piece, Pedro.

Nice song but also i agree with teego on the singing of it. Fades in and out compared to the music. Must be louder (I am supposin') a little more, but not too much.
good song though and the mix other than that sounds fine.
A lot of work in the end.

Excellent number Pedro.  It is a professional sounding song and you vocals are full of emotion without over-selling the song.  I love that little bass lead somewhere around the middle.
    Good stuff!!!!!

To all, thank you for taking the time to comment on my mix!!

I tried to approach the song with a "keep it simple" mindset, both while writing it and especially during the mixing phase...
These day´s with so many fancy plugins in our DAW´s to choose from it´s very tempting to use them not because the mix needs them but just because they are available to us....

It was a lesson that i had to learn on my own.... "keep it simple" is now my mantra when it comes to mixing...

On this mix alli used was eq´s, compression, reverb and delay on the vocals... I think it turned out way better than my previous mixes.

teego ,spacealf - Thank you for your input, i did not wanted to over compress the vocals, but reading your comment, maybe some mild automation on the vox might be useful.

evadianepug- Thank you for the kind words, and yes my kids spend a lot of time on the studio with me....sometimes it´s hard to get "things" done but who cares!??  I don´t have any deadlines... hehe

Freddy Jmike_mccue- Thank you for the motivational words, it really means a lot to me, and what makes me try harder everytime!!

    Pedro,

Something special about this song Pedro. As Warren said I feel like I know a little more about you now, the video was fantastic, I was glued to it.
There were spots where the vocal really shone and I think it's definitely the hero of the song. The bass lead was a nice touch.

Very nice tune, Pedro! The only suggestiuon I would have is that the vocal really needs to come up a bit more. You sing great, so don't bury it.
