how to add a utility to the utilities menu

I have a 32 bit wave editor that I have been using for a decade or so which now does not show up in X3-64 bit but used to in X1-32 bit.  How to fix?

FWIW, it does not matter that the editor is 32bit, it should work fine in 64bit SONAR. Just follow the directions to the letter. The most common mistake is setting the type to "Wave Editor". There should be no space; type should be set to WaveEditor.

Mr scook, that link is dead.  (page not found)

    Is there a different one?

I have updated the link. If it goes stale, I found it by using the search function on the Cakewalk home page for "third party editor"

OK.  Thanks.  I am going to a full backup prior to messing with the registry.  If I never post on here again that is because I no longer have a functioning computer.

If you prefer, Duckbar has a graphical interface for editing the Utility menu. It is available at http://www.sonarmods.com/forum/index.php (registration required to download).

Thanks for correcting the link, scook.  It works fine now, and I have pulled up that page and will be saving off the content to my computer for later perusal.
