Forum problem
I continue to have a really poor experience with this forum when using an iPad 4, Android tab or smartphone. Usually I can't reply to a post about 90% of the time. I keep getting a message that says something like unexpected error and to try posting later. Yet I don't have this issue on my PC. What is it about this forum software? I don't encounter this problem on other sites.
Anyone else have this problem.
I guess I'll see in a moment if I can start a new post. If I can, then I have to wonder if I'll be able to reply to any comments.

I think platform and browser variations are why things work differently or not at all. This issue has been around since I can recall. Bob Bone

I get those same errors on a PC from time to time. In fact, "time" is the main point here. Are you trying to post at different times on your mobile device than on your PC? The reason I ask is that I've noticed there are definitely times (around 10pm PST for example) when the forum is probably being backed up and the response time can suck so much that things time out.
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

I wonder if this post will go through.
Yay! I got through. First time in 3 days. Probably be OK for a few posts and then bang.
The problem I have is that in recent months I've found the problem getting increasingly worse. In that time there have been no updates to my android or iOS devices yet the response with the forum is worse.
If I switch and go online with my PC at the same times of day, I don't get the same problems. This would seem to indicate that the notion of forum backup at these times is not the cause of mobile device connection problems.
By the way I'm connecting via wifi to the same router at home as my PC connection. When I go mobile over a 3G or 4g network there's no issues.
