The Adventures of The Horses From Burnt Creek Trail …..u tube video

Hi Guys,

here's a little home made video about some horse friends of mine

Erica The Tennessee Walker passed away a few weeks ago and I miss her dearly
I wanted to put this video out to honor her and keep her memory alive .

basically the all the video footage was shot by me with the exception of the frames I happen to be in
I used my little Zoom ….not the best quality , and some footage I shot while I was riding Erica ...
the video was edited on my Mac in July and leaves a lot to be desired …you might want to pop a dramamine

the music was done across multiple platforms as I was putting it together and as I was mapping it out
…some of the music was done in X3 ( the heavy strings and orchestral sections )
all of the music was mixed , edited and rendered in SONAR 6 PE ...

many of you that will take the time to watch the video will probably notice that the music is the second half of my most recent songs forum posting ...
I have received mixed reactions and view points of that section of the song as music only , the thing is I wrote all that to fit most of the video footage …
on this video I am posting a new mix of the song

I did not write the music in the trailer , I would have had I more time ….for that section I used a royalty free music song
I might turn out to be the best music in the whole video anyway ...

other than that I look a lot different now  a days …
I cut my hair and I lost 50 pounds since this was done

The Adventures of The Horses Of Burnt Bridge Creek Trail

hope somebody enjoys my little home movie

Kenny

I'm sorry about that ….I have uploaded from my desktop 3 times and U tube keeps putting up the wrong file
I finally gave up and left the video they keep using ….it is not the mix I wanted ...
I will change that later on I hope

Bravo!! Nice one Kenny. What is really funny is when I go visit my brother, he lives next door to a place exactly like this and the three horses there could be these three horses, as the are the same in coloring white, brown and black. Everything in the video was done nicely and the music fit along very nice. Good video production.

Very enjoyable, Kenny.  I enjoy the videos with forum people in them.  Sorry about your horse.  My sister has a small ranch in Oregon and she LOVES her horses.  A great tribute.  OK, cut the hair?  Lost 50 lbs?  I'm thinking of doing one of those!

    Hi John,
Yes, your brother is a very lucky guy to live so close to horses ….
the whole area where Erica , Peanut and Shiloh live was a little slice of heaven on earth for me ...
after spending hours with them every day I would come home and just sit here and think about all the fun I had with them…
I happen to live in an apt complex , so spending all that time w them every day was very good for me ...
some day soon I hope to be able to step up …so I can live like that and call that type of place home

I'm very glad you enjoyed my little video w music ….

    Hi Warren ,
I noticed when I went high protein in my diet my overall mood evened out and I had much more energy
thats how I lost the weight
w the hair …it's still long … it now is cut to shoulder length ...

I can certainly understand your sister LOVING her Horses
Erica's owner J….used to tease me all the time and call me Erica's boyfriend

I'm very very happy you enjoyed the video

    Hi Lynn,

I really liked what you did with your video  it was a real treat to see and hear .

this video was my way of honoring and saying goodbye to a place and a time I can't go back to again
(unless in my memory and feelings where time is elastic and suspended )
Erica's gone , and Peanut is with a new herd.
This was a nice year of my life …..an experience I hope never to forget .

I have thought about doing some more guitar playing videos ….I might give it another go at some point .

    thanks all  ,

    Kenny,

Cool video, who doesn't love horses?   The music fits the video very well.   Actually about 1/4 way through I forgot I was listening to the music and just enjoyed the video, meaning the music completed the video and was not distracting, but was an extension of the video.   Good work.  Congrats on your 50 pound weight loss too, that is quite an achievement...
