X3e - Pro Channel / BUS

X3e - Pro Channel / BUS
Looking for some info on pro channel, bus, and where to use 'em.
example
Bass track1 I like using pro channel "Bass - Deep & Fat Saturation".
Is it better to set that on the track itself, or create a bus with pro channel "Bass - Deep & Fat Saturation".

    I'd just use it on the track. Bus processing is more useful when you want to process different tracks similarly. The classic example is reverb: you put reverb in a bus, and then you can send signals from multiple tracks so you have the same kind of ambience on all tracks.

    Or to create a group like "backing vocals". There's no real reason to create a bus if you're processing a single track.
