VST Patch Issue

Hello Everyone,

I am having a strange problem in a project of mine.  I have 3 of the same softsynths on 3 different simple instrument tracks.   When I update or change the patch on one of them, they ALL get changed and play the exact same sound.  I never had to do anything to make it just work right, but all the sudden, I am running into this issue.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it!

Thank you,
Adam

I wish I had an idea - I do not like the simple instrument tracks, and choose to use the standard audio and midi tracks - keeping them separate.

Is there a reason you need to use simple instrument tracks?  Have you tried distinct audio and midi tracks?

I hope someone who knows more about simple instrument tracks can guide you through something that addresses your issue.  If it were me, I would just change up to audio/midi tracks.

That really sounds like a Quick Group kind of thing, though I'm not sure that groups even support patch changes (and you've have to hold the Control key anyway).   Just curious... if you add a fourth instance, does it behave the same?

FWIW, I use SITs all the time but have never run into this before.
