[Solved] groove clip looping issue after converting to mono

[Solved] groove clip looping issue after converting to mono

Hi folks
 
I added kick drum loop from the Beatscape library to a project I'm working on. it was originally in stereo so I converted it to mono. Then when I tried to reapply the groove clip looping it stretches the loop out to double it's original length. 
 
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    Open the loop construction window and enter the correct number of beats.

    No problem! As someone who has created several libraries of Acidized samples, I know the loop construction window world pretty well.

    I must admit, it's not somewhere I venture very often so didn't even think to open it. I'll know next time :-)
