The Mermaid and The Bouy

Some of you may have heard that our own Jonbouy is getting married, this May, to his longtime life partner aka The Mermaid.

This prompted us to put aside our monkey themes and produce a serious original composition to honor the occasion.

This is a collaboration between Jan (Old55), Daryl (Daryl1968) and Ed (Bapu).

We'd like to give a special thanks to The Current Mrs. Daryl1968 for her guest vocals on this tune. We're still not sure how we got her to appear.

We hope you enjoy it.

The Mermaid and The Bouy.

Just to clarify for the pedantic among us.  They're getting married in May--not that she's a mermaid for that month.

Nice!

Sounds exactly like the theme song for a 70's sitcom too (not a bad thing!).

Thanks, Craig.  Some 70's sitcom themes are just cheesy.  There are a lot of good ones, though.

It's our local artist Richard Adams "The Hermit and the Mermaid".  I'm sure he won't mind.  I'll buy some more of his art cards if he does...

There's more talent on this forum than you can shake a stick at... I'm not sure what that means exactly? I shake my stick daily? There's no real talent involved? Wait, what were we talking about again?

You're very welcome, Kerry.  It was fun--at least my small part of it was fun.  Ed and Daryl did the real work and the current Mrs Daryl always sounds great.  I think they had fun with it too.
