This directory is for track templates not MIDI loops
C:\Cakewalk Content\Sonar X3 Producer\Track Templates\Soft Synth Templates\Session Drummer 3\
This directory is the top level of the 64bit Session Drummer 3 plug-in
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\VSTplugins\Session Drummer 3\
The MIDI loops are found in Patterns directory beneath this. Place them there if you wish. Or Place them in the MIDI Library in the Cakewalk Content directory.
The initial post referenced
C:\Program Files(x86)\Cakewalk etc....
which is a 32bit installation directory.
It is not clear whether 32bit, 64bit or both versions of X3 are installed.

I notice that the stuff in the GM Other MIDI mappings has a .pal file suffix? What is that for? I assume Session Drummer runs those?
No, most of the files are not for Session Drummer. The .pal extension is used by BFD. There is no need to copy everything. All the Groove Monkee packages that I purchased have a "...Session Drummer" directory in the "Other MIDI Mappings." If the plan is to use the MIDI loops with Session Drummer, this is all you need to copy into a directory. The rest of the of the Groove Monkee package is not needed unless you have the synths referenced in the directory names.
