New- CAn I use the virtuals isntruments and record it?

( sorry for my bad english)
 
I buy mC6 touch and i dont have a MIDI keyboard yet, i want to use the "CakeSoundCenter" to do music with my mouse becoause i get confuced with the "steps"  can i do that or not ?
if i can, How ?

sorry i am new in this .

    No, that doesn't work. The onscreen keyboard allows you to audition sounds from the synth, but it cannot record.
    The Piano Roll View or Staff View are your best options for using a mouse to enter notes.
    My personal favorite is the PRV(Piano Roll View). It offers the greatest flexibility and control.
    Take some time and get familiar with it. Once you get used to it, it's actually pretty easy to work with.

    correct, you can not record the music live using the mouse. You must click the notes into the PRV grid or onto the staff lines in staff view. Then you can play it back and hear it in real time.
     
    My recommendation would be to pick up a used midi keyboard  and connect it to be able to play the parts in real time as MC6 is recording what you play. Ultimately, this is the best way to record the midi. Mousing the notes in takes a very long time.
