No sounds out of either one. I loaded others and it was fine. Don't know what's up with that...but no sound.

Larry - I just downloaded - I thought the same thing until I clicked on a few of the small tabs on the front organ page - these initiate the sounds I think. Only had a few moments to play with both of these but I think they sound pretty usable to me. Also downloaded the MSLP from Big Cat - again some very usable stuff in there. Once again Big Cat, many Thanks for your efforts and letting us have these for nothing - very much appreciated Nigel

I really should have mentioned that. I couldn't get the remember what buttons I pressed thing to stick in the script so I just blanked all the organ 'stops' and you have to press them each time you start the organ to get sound. The two bottom interface buttons are the far left keys, simulating pedals. The left side is the lower two octaves of the basic keyboard and the right side is all the upper octaves of the basic keyboard. I was hoping that splitting the keyboard would make it more usable. Its not ideal, but otherwise I was getting the buttons showing up as pressed but still not making any sound, which was even worse. Basically I went with buttons instead of keyswitches to make it easier to layer sounds. Thanks for trying out the instruments and the kind words, Nigel.

Got it...what confused me was the lower register showed "Blue" as in use, and that is where I was playing....however all the sounds are in the upper "Blue" register.
Anyways...YES...these are good! Thanks Bigcat!

I wouldn't have thought so (except the St. Augustinbes one which has a sample file) they are Nki patches, but I could be wrong!!

Thanks for this; I like pipe organs. The sound of this burea funeral organ is appropriate for what kind of instrument it was sampled from, that being a funeral instrument or a small chapel organ. My only concern is that it is difficult to know which octaves of the keyboard are associated with the different stops. Usually on a pipe organ the two, three or four different manuals have different stops for each manual and those stops are organized or put in the same place. So one manual's stops are together, then the other manual's stops are together, the pedal stops are together. I realize that there are not multiple manuals on this organ, but there are different zones on the keyboard for the three different manuals that were sampled. For me, it would be nice to have those zones mapped on the midi keyboard in different colors, not keyswitches, but just colors for the different octaves on the keyboard that are associated with the different manuals. So one color for the pedals, another for the lower manual, another for the upper manual. This would make it easier to know where the implied manuals are on one midi keyboard layout. I hope you will also do more instruments with the other organ's that were sampled by Lars Palo of Lars Virtual Pipe Organ. The tone of this burea funeral is nice, subtle and reserved and appropriate for its size. I really enjoyed playing it. Again, I like pipe organs. BTW, there is another thread on here about another couple of pipe organs. It is amazing to see several threads now on this grand daddy of instruments.

Thanks for the colored zones; this helps. Regarding your blog, thanks for the quote, but one correction: I am not an expert, just a fan of pipe organs. So please change "expert" to "fan".

I would use the word "Aficionado"...it just sounds more professional without being so...

Yes, that is better. Thanks for changing that term and for adding the colors; they make it easier to know which octaves work with the different stops. One more little concern: In your blog you say: "Starting small, I chose this 5 manual and 2 pedal rank organ as my first conversion." My concern is whether or not the "burea funeral organ" actually has 5 manuals and 2 pedals or not???? I looked at the pictures (here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ourorgan/) and it looks to me that the burea funeral organ picture only has one manual (which probably divides into two zones) and one pedal board. Not sure if that picture is the organ that your samples for your Kontakt 5 nki instrument come from or not. I just am a little uncertain that it has 5 manuals and 2 pedals; I see other pictures of three manuals and such, but the funeral organ looks like it is much smaller. I only note these points for clarity and hope that you will find them helpful. At least take a look and see. Hope this helps.

I think I totally misunderstood what a manual is! I think it has 6 stops not 6 manuals? What a mistake to make. Thank you for correcting me there.
