Save selected tracks only

After suggestion from this forum I've moved from using CWB files to CWP files.

What I wanted to ask is this.

In my "template" project file I have a pair of tracks that I want included in all of the finished recordings but that I don't need to have saved with the project files.

Is there a way I can save a project file and only save certain selected tracks (that are kept separate) and never save the other two tracks? Or am I going to have to just go in and delete those every time?

    Delete them every time.

A save saves the project "as is". there is no facility to exclude certain tracks from being saved

I've often thought it would be really useful to be able to save only selected parts of a project. But I guess we'd end up with something far less reliable than bundle files ;o)
