MDA plugins don't work in Sonar X3

I have the 64-bit versions of the MDA VST plugins, and none of them work in Sonar X3. Moving the slider controls on the UI does nothing, so I can't edit any parameters. It works fine in Sonar X2. The only way I can change the plugin settings in X3 is through automation, which is difficult to set up for each parameter. I saw in the X3c update info that MDA compatibility was "fixed," but it seems to have been broken again by X3e.
 
Anyone else experienced this?
