SSD or HDD for Sonar X3 and OS?

Hi, this is my first post.  Today I take delivery of my new desktop and Sonar X3.  The Desktop has an Intel i5 4670 processor, 1 tb SATA 3 7200 rpm HD, and a 128 gb SSD.  The OS is Windows 7, 64 bit.  My question is, is it best to put the OS and Sonar X3 on the SSD?  If not, what is the best way to go?  Thanks

    Yeah, I'd definitely put OS and Sonar on the SSD. As many of your music related applications as you can there, but you might run out of space on it pretty quickly being that number of GB.

    Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

    I believe there are two schools of thought:  1)  SSD for OS & programs for fast load time; and 2)  SSD for sample libraries when using large samples (and modest amount of RAM).  Also, if you had a large SSD volume, I would use it for samples and also a second one for my audio projects.  Once Windows (or OS) starts and program(s) load, you won't seen any benefit from the SSD under the first scenario.  However, since your SSD is rather small, it is the only practical use for it.
