[Answered] Moving Markers

I have created a song that uses loops that follow key change markers. I have decided that I need a 4 bar drum stick count in and need to bump everything to the right a few bars. I select all and the drum tracks move to the right but the Bass track does not move and neither the Markers. Is there a way to move everything including markers in the timeline?

    Yes, no problem.

    1. Select All.
    2. Drag across the part of the timeline that contains the material you want to move.
3, Click on a blank space in the topmost track to give it the focus, but make sure you don't de-select the other tracks. Giving the focus pastes everything back to the correct tracks
    3. Go Edit > Cut Special. Check both Events and Markers (and anything else that's appropriate, like automation).
    4. Place the now time where you want the material to go, and choose Paste Special. Click on Advanced if needed, and make sure that Markers is checked. Click OK - done.

You can also move/copy/paste just the markers, which can also come in handy.

Alternatively, it is probably easier to just insert some blank bars at the start. With the Now Time at the position where you want the extra bars and with nothing selected, go to the Project menu and choose the option Insert Time/Measures.
