I cannot figure out why everyone in Europe has to pay 24.95 euros for the same video. That is the equivelent of $33.00. And then advertise a $10.00 discount if you buy the video. I believe in "FAIR" pricing and not this kind of CRAP!

You cannot do that in the store. You have to log in with your e-mail address and are also asked which country you are from.

Thanks for posting the link. I looked at the contents. Seems like it might be worthwhile for that subject area.

I was perplexed that the description doesn't include a sample segment to check out this person's presentation style.

I was further perplexed that the content description itself does not mention what version of Melodyne the tutorial covers. I almost presume it only covers the Melodyne version included with Sonar X3, and not Melodyne Editor.

So it's a pass from me for now.

There are some samples on this page:

    http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/Advanced-Audio-Editing-SONAR-X3-and-Melodyne

I'd say the presentation style is fine. Just one thing bothers me: the almost-constant background music. It only stops when you hear the audio he's working with. That's not very often in those samples. If it weren't for that distraction, I'd buy it.

Maybe it's just me. Maybe it wouldn't bother other people.

Mitch - thanks for pointing out the page that includes some sample links. It's interesting, He does keep unrelated background music going all the time he's talking. I wonder why he did that? Maybe he was trying to make a marketing promo.

I won't be getting the video anytime soon, but his presentation seems pretty good from the sample videos. The background music doesn't bother me.

The dreaded VAT is part of the problem. You have to add VAT at in the EU that is typically 20%. Slowly the tax authorities are closing the loopholes that enabled one to buy from the US and advoid tax.

Even taking the VAT in to account there are exchange rate fluctuations which make the  US/EU price ratio vary a lot. The dollar is weak at the moment so this will have an effect. I am from the UK but get paid in dollars, I assure you it makes a big difference.

Got this yesterday, it's £19.95 price and 1.2gb d/l. Haven't had chance to watch it yet, apart from the teasers, which seem ok.
My whole complaint with the Melo/V.vocal/pitch-correction brigade is, that they never show any promo vids with someone with a (really) bad voice. All the promo vox you hear is stellar from the off...or am I looking in the wrong places??

The concept behind "Instructional Videos" is to give you "barely enough"
and then they leave it up to you.  For the most part, they're not going to
show you their "trade secrets".  They're out to make money off of you
    AND off of the client.

The answer to that is simple - allow all customers to pay in $$ as other US based retailers seem to manage quite easily. CW have used the "fluctuations" excuse for years and it doesn't really cut it when there is such a simple way around it.
