Change Clip Color Background Based on Bus Color Assignment?

Hello,

Is there any way to have the clip background color not be this awful almost-black color?   I'd rather have very bold distinct looking clips as opposed to the notes just having a different color.  I would love if it can be done based on the track color based off which bus it goes to.

Thank You,
Adam

Only 4 days ago, but this is not what I am looking for.

I am looking for the clip background colors to change according to the bus color it is assigned to.  The notes already do this behavior.  I know the about the default setting, but I would want them to change as I route them to the busses.

I removed "solved" and changed the title to (I believe) frame the question more precisely. If it's not an accurate summary, let me know.

No, it's not possible to have clip background color follow bus assignment. I found that you can import default background colors exported from X2, which will assign colors by track number, but as soon as you start re-assigning foreground colors, that gets out of whack, and it doesn't help with you goal of matching the bus color. The best you can do for now is select and change all existing clips' background color as a group; this is pretty easy to do, but does not address subsequent recordings, which will use the default color for the track.
