The new version of Firefox. You likey?

They seem to be making a big deal about this and it is kind of interesting but not quite as streamlined (compared to the last version) as they are touting it to be. The drag and drop is cool but not all that useful to me personally. The elimination of the big orange button... meh, alright (but they should have made the new menu button orange). I do NOT like the new tab design (seems like it's taking up more space).

All in all though... it's alright. Now hopefully they stop releasing new freaking versions every ten seconds. What you think?

Also... hello, CH'ers. Hope ya'll are well.

Not really, I miss the old 28 version. I gotten use to it I guess for the time being, but really, some things they should leave alone.
They way of making bookmarks is different but I guess it works.
Little graphics off on the right top, do not make my day.
    And well.......................
It has already had an update for version 29 to 29.01

Hated it  - they ruined the toolbar by putting the refresh button in a dumb place IMO and making it so that you can't move it any more, so I installed classic theme restorer as it seems to be the only way to put it back where it was. Curved tabs - meh ! Change for the sake of it. I wish they would stop messing with it - doesn't seem like all that long ago that I was on 3.68 which already did everything I needed it to and now we're up to 29.01.

    Terrible stupid choices they made.
Thanks to Gingerbread man (from toe mozilla forum)
I found "Classic Theme Restorer" (Tools > Addons > Extensions ) and was able to fix all of the new annoyances.

There's a lot of blue at the top, apart from that, seems about the same as the last version. *shrug*

Well... it's been a day since it installed itself and it's alright but I'm certainly not digging the new tab design. Just seems awkward and like it might be taking up more space (but that's probably just an optical illusion). The new menu is cool but not really anything particularly helpful. I also think there are some bugs. It seems to be tripping over it's wang more than the previous version.

Meh. Not annoying enough to make me use an addon or whatever to switch it back though.

I'm still using Win XP. I haven't tried the "Classic Theme Restorer" yet, but I did clean up many of the changes that Firefox dropped on us :

From the desktop, I right clicked on the Firefox icon ->Properties->Compatibility, then checked the little "disable visual themes" box. This restored the colors on the top band of the screen (which brought back the minimize/restore/close boxes on the top right), and made the folder tabs much easier to see and handle.

I don't know what you would need to do to accomplish this with newer versions of Windows, the options available when selecting "properties" has evolved with the Windows version releases, and disabling visual themes from an external source might be trickier than it is in XP.
