I would like it better without some of the vvocal artifacts. It's a classic toon. The synth seems a bit of an odd choice with this song and the rest of the production. No bagpipes?

At first, I thought the synth was a pan flute or something, like from the old Clint Eastwood westerns. I think it sounds pretty interesting in context. Nice wide mix, very clear. Harmony on the left needs more highs, IMO. Cool tune and it sounds great! Regards, Dan

Robby .thanks for listening. Yeah this song is a classic and has been done 1000 different ways so I was trying to do something that hasn't been done on it, so, sorry, no bagpipes. I appreciate the comments! Dan thank you also, the patch is in Z3ta, the one called "funky lead". You are probably exactly right about the left harmony , I remember rolling some highs off, probably over done it. Thanks for listening and commenting.

I like it - there's definitely a "mood" in the performance and arrangement.

I liked the way you approached this song. Your vocal is outstanding, and your clever arrangement makes this interesting. I like the guitar work, as well. You definitely have a sound, and you use it well. Keep em coming.

Nice vocals teego! This song definately has a groove that I really like. Love the acoustic guitar work. As Lynn has mentioned, you have a distinct style that I am digging. Keep up the good work. I might have heard a couple of the vocal artifacts that Robbie has mentioned. I listened twice, but couldn't really pin point the spot where I heard it.

hey teego - good work on this - a few things I noticed: you've got some noise on something that you recorded and stays with the whole song. maybe your noise level was too high on your mic recording either the acoustic or vocals. I don't care for the synth myself, either. it seems out of place with the feel of the song with the other acoustic instruments. the drums sound "saturated" or clipped or something at times. nice work, tho! thanks for sharing!

@makeshift Thanks for listening and commenting. Glad you like what you're hearing. Are the artifacts you are hearing in the vocal are at the autotuned spots? If so that is intentional, I did it as an effect just playing around with it. I didn't pitch correct the vocal except at those spots and I know I am not dead on at all times . I appreciate the feedback! @beagle I went and listened to each track separately and on one acoustic track it sounds like the ac might have been running. Could that be what you are hearing? The drums are SI Drums and I didn't do any extra processing so it was sampled that way I guess. Thanks for the input and for taking time to comment. @markno999 Thanks , I am glad you liked it! It was fun to do and play around with the toys..

Sure, that could be it. Anything that might cause the noise floor on one or more tracks to be raised.
