Tal Juno synth

May not be relevant or current to anyone, but the Juno 6 was a mind blower in 1982. Hardware giant capable of 6 note polyphony, and was quickly on about any evolving video of the era. Blew away the ELP revolution restriction of one note at a time. Technology at the zenith peak of human creation.

Tal Audio dudes did a credible replication of the Juno 6 with a few enhancements. The price was $60 US, which was a tug at the heart strings over the years, especially since I paid over 2K for the hardware unit I still have rusting away in the salt spray out here on the coast.

They got a sale for about half off from PluginBoutique. You got to use the TAL50 code for the discount. Comes up for just under $31. Snagged this thing right away at that price. Piece of history with some incredible sounds. Note also that there are several preset libraries for free made by lay users.

Another note on this thing. The main effects unit on the Juno was a two stage light or heavier chorus on the output. Two buttons and no other control, mix and match that gave the etherial sounds to strings and the like. In the original presets, take off the chorus filtering and strings became brittle dry pads with little use.

Somewhere on Tal's site is a freebie clone of the original Juno 6 chorus buttons with a bit more control. Can use as a vst downstream for any sound. Cool plug for the price.
