QuadCurve flyout question

Anyone know if there's a keyboard shortcut you can use to open and close the QC flyout?

.... and while on Quad-Curve flyout question.

Once it flies out, is it floatable? Mine sticks to the one place and refuses to be repositioned regardless of the little pin in the corner.

I think there is cause for a feature request
