Cannot See All Info In Soft Synth Track

I upgraded to Producer from Studio and am really enjoying the added features. I also downloaded the instructional videos for the synths. The problem I am having is when I insert a soft synth such as TTS-1, I only see minimal info. e.g. Buttons: M, S, Record, Input Echo, R, W, *, & A. I do not see volume, pan, Vel+, and the five drop down menus. The FX in Blue also does not appear. In the video the instructor simply drags in the TTS-1 and everything shows up. I have tried it as a Simple Instrument Track and a MIDI track but same result for both. I tried searching the web and Cakewalk support but haven't found an answer.

    Check the Track Control drop down
     
    In the illustration below from http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR%20X3&language=3&help=Views.02.html below the area in the red box in the Track view, the drop down labelled "Mix" controls what is visible in the track and bus strips. Set it to "All".
     

     
     
    Consider posting in the X-series forum. This forum is for older pre-X series versions of SONAR.
