Addictive Drums 2 problems?
Hello, I have a couple of problems with AD2 (2.0.1 64bit) ever since I've loaded the update (from AD1 to AD2) 64 bit.
1. When I go into "Transform" category to lengthen the bars, from say "Original" to 16 bars, from the midway point to the end, the Volume increases to the point of digital distortion, I've tried to adjust Sample rate, Baud rate, ASIO, my audio interface (RME) from one end of the spectrum to another and No difference, other than increasing distortion. I never ran into this before with AD1. With the original version of AD always sounded great and easy to use. If I run only "Original Bars" it's fine, This happens weather Stand Alone or in the Sonar DAW.
2. My CPU's first core out of four seems to run a little high? At least 50% (from the Sonar X3e monitor on the top right) of the time as it's monitoring, possibly AD2 is not optimized for Multicore processing? and the balance of the three cores barely move to about 5% My concern is when I do heavy projects using 100 or more tracks and a lot of plug-ins, will performance lag? With AD1 I never had a problem (I also own BFD3 No problems even under extreme VST usages).
I've contacted XLN a couple of times, they reply in about three days or so, but they had No answer? I've emailed a Wav.file to
Simon Sigfridsson & Gustaf Svenungsson per there request exhibiting the issues, and they still don't understand how the CPU is effected? (I mentioned to XLN to take a look in a few forums where similar problems exist with customers, XLN says AD2 has No issues?)
I wanted to ask if possibly the Cakewalk forum members would have a solution?
Thanks for any suggestions!
Mike.
