[Solved] How Do I Render A Corrected Melodyne Vocal Track
Hi, After making corrections in a vocal track with Melodyne, what are the exact steps to take in order to render the changes? Thanks,

I would use bounce to tracks and bounce it to a new track. Then you can just mute the old version. If you need to come back to it... no problem. There is a render button in the Presonus version. Idk if the render button works in Sonar. I'm not at my desk so I can't check.

I guess it depends whether you are likely to want to re-visit it. I have found that I can leave quite a lot of melodyne clips open in a project without any issues, but I also prefer to tidy up as it were, so first off, I clone the track before making any changes and then mute/hide that one so that I have the original if I mess anything up. I set up Ctrl+B as a short cut for bounce to clip, so when I'm done with the changes, Ctrl+B and it renders the changes.

Thanks for the replies! I am a bit confused though. So Bounce to Clip and Bounce to Track both render the Melodyne changes?

Bounce to track renders the whole track, bounce to clip renders just the selected clip(s).

Bounce to track creates a NEW track, leaving the original intact. Bounce to clip renders it in place.

Bristol_Jonesey Bounce to track creates a NEW track, leaving the original intact. Bounce to clip renders it in place.
Pedantic corner: It will bounce to a new track or other specified track including the original if you so choose. ;)

In general: I create the track and name it before bouncing to it. The track name will be added to the wave file name. Good for happiness.
