X3 trial: should I uninstall before full install

X3 trial: should I uninstall before full install

I installed the trial on a laptop. I now want to install the compete pile.
 
Should I uninstall the trial before?  Or just register and sally forth?

    No need to uninstall the trial copy.  The main version installs side-by-side as though it was a different version altogether.  That was my experience with X2 anyway.
