Cakewalk rocks!

Just a nice thread to replace a spammer topic title on the home page.

Long live Sonar! Recently bought a UR-22 interface, and downloaded the Ableton light software that came with it. Uh, no thank you. Was also looking at Reaper. No staff view. You get what you pay for, and sometimes a lot more. Which is why I won't be going anywhere. If there's a better DAW out there, at any price, I'd like to see it.

I just flagged a dozen spam posts but didn't have the patience to go through all 30 of them. But it's still early here, I'm sure others will pitch in later. I'm tempted to call that a$$hole up, just to let him know how hated he is on this forum. I know there are forum members here from India; maybe somebody here is local to him and would be willing to make that call.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Now aren't all these spam threads created by the same user each day, Like he creates a new user name and then goes at it? If so then a possible solution is the forum only allows you to start one thread per day. Or better yet one thread per Sub form. This would not have any limiting effect on the real form users.
Or the same filter used to prevent new users from posting pictures and links prevents you from starting more than one thread per 24 hours until your post count is over 30.

I too was faced with 30 spam threads and it took me at least 20 minutes to tag them all...I'm not sure I could always be that nice... We should get a FREE T shirt today..
