I briefly got excited at the thought of having an EQ I could draw a curve on..........but, then realised it was for the Harrison Mixbus DAW only.

Yep, that's the problem with proprietary plugins/ software. There's lots of good alternatives available already. I use Nebula for 2 buss/ mastering which I prefer over everything else I've tried, plugin wise anyway...

It may be for MB only but for $15? It does complete the general needs of MB.

Anybody have this and care to comment? I've been using the ToneBoosters EQ within Mixbus which works great ... this looks pretty similar. Sure wish there was a way to demo Mixbus plugins. Cheers, Eddie

I downloaded and installed yesterday. I've run it through the ringer and it is a very nice and dead easy plugin to use. Nothing really magical but if you use Mixbus on a regular basis I could see grabbing it. I like the drag move to set eq shaping. Yes, that feature is in a few other plugin EQs but this seems smoother. I seem to be seeing a pattern here that bothers me a little. I bought Mixbus for a crazy cheap price. Now, one by one, the plugins are being sold for ridiculously low prices. I have a bad feeling that Mixbus is going to go bye-bye. I am hoping this is a sign that the Mixbus 64 bit upgrade is coming and they are just phasing out the 32 bit version. Time will tell.

Although I enjoy using Mixbus for small mixing projects it won't ever replace my other daws. There's so many issues with it now I don't imagine the new version will be stable or bug free enough to trust using it on normal projects with midi, vi's. Does anyone know what new features they actually intend to put into the upcoming x64 version or when it's scheduled for release? I hope it doesn't get bloated up in the process. Whatever they do it's going to have to be an extremely smooth roll-out, both feature & price wise.

There is a thread, on the Harrison boards, where Ben says they don't want to be like other DAWs like Ableton or others that cater to the beats crowd. I hope the next version is x64 as well. I like the EQ as well.

Isn't is more like a mastering app. I wouldn't call it a DAW. I have it and it looks overwhelming at first. I haven't messed with it yet. I don't think Mixbus is going bye bye. In a saturated market you have to almost give away a product to make notice. It also has great reviews.

It's definitely a DAW. I hope they keep it dedicated more for mixing & mastering rather than vsti & midi. With it's slow development I can't see it competing with the other full featured DAWs.

I asked Ben if there was a way to change which drive the projects are saved to. He said "You will be able to in the new version, but not now". So a new version is coming. 64bit and being able to use a drum sampler would be nice, but I hope they don't change much.
