Broomstick Bass and EZ Drummer...why don't they auto-load?

These are the only plugins for me that do this but when I load a project with them in it they won't sound until I open their UIs and allow the designated kits or sounds to load up. Not a big deal really curious as to why only these two plugins exhibit this behavior?
