Please Beta Test a 40 Stop Kontakt 5 Organ
Based on Lars Palo's excellent Creative Commons Burea Church Organ, sampled in 2010, this Organ has over 2000 samples and a fun script with lots of reverbs and other goodies. Best of all it's free. Thanks to feedback there have been a few changes, hopefully improvements. The font color is now more readable, the bass has been boosted to give the pedals more oomph, a few weaker samples have been excised and there have been a few volume alterations for greater consistency. http://bigcatinstruments..../06/test-my-organ.html

Thanks for giving it a try, Bajan Blue. This is a pretty big one weighing in at about one and a third gigs. The good news is that the samples shouldn't change, so even if things get fixed in testing, it should only be 150 megs or so to update.

There are two button for each stop. The first turns that stop on and off. What does the second button in each stop do?

Nice pipes! I guess I should be a pretty good judge of the pipe organ. Our church still has an old one my Dad use to repair and maintain. In his world, there exists no other musical instrument. Choir and pipe organ that's it.
Yours sounds as real as it gets to me, haven't had a chance to mess with it much, I'll try it on Toccata and Fugue in Dm

Doesn't work in X3 here as a VSTi. I get the error "newer version of Kontakt needed" NI service center says I'm up to date. Sounds great as standalone though.

Hi
I'm running X3e and Kontakt 5.3137 and the original nki loaded no problem here - how strange.
Anyway I think this sounds really good, especially for my sort of usage and I'm going to try to use it on something I am working on at the moment.

I'm discovering odd incompatibility here and there in this beta test, not quite sure what causes many of them. Here's the more or less latest version, though you might want to give it a test before you switch to it. http://www.mediafire.com/...ureau_Church_Organ.zip

Tried that too. The issue is mine, somehow the standalone got updated, but not the VSTi internal synth is on version 5.3.0 6464 but standalone 5.3.137. No issues with other patches though.

That is frustrating. I didn't understand that if I updated no one who was lower than my version number could use the stuff I put out.
