BEWARE! I learned the hard way when you update your drumkits for 2.4 it resets the kit back to factory settings. All my little custom tweaks in all my projects were overwritten back to factory! I sometimes will use a bigger sounding kit in a project. I may not need all 5 toms or all 8 cymbals so I set them to none. This eliminates those kit pieces from being loaded when the song loads up in X3. The kits load faster because your loading less samples. The Latin Percussion library, for instance, has all those instruments but I just need the congas. I just set all the other instruments to none. What once took 40 seconds or more to load now takes only 5 seconds. I need that speed when I use my laptop for live performance.
