Issue w/ Sonar X3 and (seemingly) iLok audio plugins

I'm using Sonar X3 Producer and I've got a track that has suddenly started exhibiting some strange behavior. Basically, I started seeing the Master channel completely pegged (as if there was a feedback loop or something) and getting no audio. I discovered through trial-and-error that turning off the Virtual Buss Compressors plugin solved the issue. But then, as I played the track, the same issue happened as the lead vocal came in. This time, I turned off the 2016 Stereo Room plugin on that track, and the issue disappeared. I also get a hard "pop" when this happens, like when you plug in a live cable or mic.

I'm a longtime Sonar user, but I'm perplexed as to what is going on. The only thing I notice is that this is only happening with audio effect VSTs that use the iLok authorization. The plugins are legit, no funny business there. And any instrument VSTs using iLok (such as Ivory) on the same track are working fine.

Any ideas?

    Are you running X3e http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013361/SONAR-X3e-Update ?
After upgrading to X3 where plug-ins reset and rescanned http://www.cakewalk.com/S...ommended-for-Upgraders ?
Was the project created in X3?
Is this happening on one project or all projects?

...and do you have the latest iLok drivers? Don't see how that would affect audio, but once you enter iLok World, anything's possible.

The first 3 books in "The Musician's Guide to Home Recording" series are available from Hal Leonard and http://www.reverb.com. Listen to my music on http://www.YouTube.com/thecraiganderton, and visit http://www.craiganderton.com. Thanks!

I've got X3e (64bit) and the project was recorded in that version to start with. It only seems to be happening on this particular project file.

On the iLok drivers, not sure to be honest. Although their site is down at the moment and so I can't check! (typical).

The only thing I've done recently is buy/authorize Harmony Engine on the iLok. The timing of that would actually line up with this issue. I wonder if it did something screwy.

If this is an isolated incident and rebuilding the project is reasonable, I would start there.
