[Solved] Sonar X2 and X3 - No Separate Piano Roll Window

Any suggestions please with this issue? I can't get a separate Piano Roll Window to appear in either Sonar X2 (64 bit) or Sonar X3d (64 bit).
Double-clicking on a MIDI track doesn't work, nor does Alt+3, nor does right click, View, Piano Roll View. It always used to work on previous 32 bit versions (ie Sonar 2 through 8 and X1) and I've tried lots of different project files and even a newly created files in X3 with just one MIDI track.
I'm wondering if it's caused by old customisation settings from the dozens of previous Cakewalk products I've installed over each other. Any suggestions where to look please, or even how to reset Sonar to start with fresh User settings? Just to confirm Sonar has always had this problem upgrading my PC to 64 bit (Intel i7-3770, 8GB, Win 8.1) and re-installing X2 and subsequently installing X3.

Thanks in advance.

To reset SONAR back to factory defaults (re-personalization in CW speak), hold the CTRL and SHIFT keys while launching SONAR. This will overwrite the files in your user directory and reset some registry entries.

Alt-3 will bring up the PRV in the multidock.  Your track view may be covering the entire multidock so you can't see it (raise the bottom of the track view).  You can also undock it (D or CTRL-D I think) and drag it around the screen or to another screen if you have two.

Many thanks for the quick replies - they are greatly appreciated. Cntl+Shift when starting didn't help, but dwardzala's post pointed me in the right direction and it is now fixed. The Piano Roll Window had got moved off the screen somehow and hence wasn't visible.
Here's the resolution in case it helps anyone else. I created a Staff View, undocked it and used cntl+tab to cycle round the open windows, seeing each Window bar get highlighted in turn. Then I opened Piano Roll View and repeated the process, getting an extra window in the contl+tab cycle that I can't see on the screen. This suggested the Piano Roll window does open but has a ridiculous X-Y offset that puts it beyond the screen and hence I can't see it.
The solution was to use cntl+tab until the missing window is selected (it won't be visible, but nothing else will be highlighted). Now press Windows key and the arrows keys to get the window back onto the monitors. Job done.

Thanks for the quick responses and help.
