"Short" Instruments in Dimension Pro

Hi there,
 
is there any trick to sustain some Instruments longer in Dimension Pro?
If I choose e.g. DimensionPro - Ethnic and World - Bamboo Flute
the flute will only sustain the tone for max 3 seconds - no matter how long I drag the midi-bar. It seems to depend a bit on the note, but overall it is way to short.
Did I overlook something, or is this meant to be like that?

    One way to get the synth to play longer involves modifying the sample by converting the flacs to waves, adding loop points in the waves with an editor (I have been using Wavosaur for this task) and modify the sfz to load the waves.

    Does DimPro respond to sustain pedal MIDI CCs?

    Sonar Platinum 64bit, Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit, I7 3770K Ivybridge, 16GB Ram, Gigabyte Z77-D3H m/board,
    ATI 7750 graphics+ 1GB RAM, 2xIntel 520 series 220GB SSDs, 1 TB Samsung F3 + 1 TB WD HDDs, Seasonic fanless 460W psu, RME Fireface UFX, Focusrite Octopre.
    Assorted real synths, guitars, mandolins, diatonic accordions, percussion, fx and other stuff.
