Hey Larry,
good to see you around. Hope everything is going well for ya !
I don't have this one, but it's is on my shopping list, and has been for a while.
I missed the release discount when it came out (whatever it was).
I recently got distracted by a sale - pettinhouse libraries, and picked up the pettinhouse "Warm Jazz" and a couple of others.
I'm not terribly impressed with the pettinhouse stuff at all, in fact I'd say I'm quite dissappointed with all of them.
Other people may find them OK, but so far it feels like $150.00 down the toilet.
I'll revisit the pettinhouse libs I bought, only when I've got "Time to Burn", which I don't have now.
I really didn't find them "Playable" ... I thought from the videos and other sales blurb that they would be.
There's no customisation for the velocity articulation switching, among other things which I think are lacking.
I've been back and checked the Impact Soundworks Archtop several times since, and now wish I'd spent the money on that ONE Archtop library at $159.00, rather than the three "bargain price" libs I bought at $49.00 each which will end up getting verry little use if any at all.
I've been happy with my other Impact Soundworks purchases for sure, so some time down the line, I will get that lovely Archtop !.
Cheers - Cliff
